Colin
Colin is the Chair of the group and a neursurgeon at the Royal Fee Hospital. He has been involed with Headway for many years and has , as is evident by his role, a great deal of knowlege and professional expertise regarding the treatment of those with brain damage.
Julie Bridgewater
Julie is the Vice Chair to the group and herself a survivor of a brain injury, following a road traffic accident in 1988. Julie has been involved with Headway for many years and received a Lifetime Achievement Award from Headway, in December 2004, during Headways Silver Jubilee year. The award was in recognition of her achievements and committment to Headway North London. Click here to read Julie's story.
Jill Greenfield
Jill is secretary to Headway North London. She is a solicitor and deals with claims involving injuries of the utmost severity. She is partner and head of the brain and spinal injury units within the personal injury department of Field Fisher Waterhouse LLP. Jill was nominated pro bono lawyer of the year and is currently campaigning for victims of terrorism.
James Gare
James is Treasurer to Headway North London. He is a qualified accountant working for Gotham Erskine, a firm of accountants specialising in the non profit sector. James has been heavily involved with auditing and advising many different non proft organisations, from the very small to those with multi million pound incomes. James has also campaiged as a volunteer for Action Against Hunger and has worked with the Charities Advisory Trust.
Maivor de Young
Maivor is an officer to the group and is a psychologist with a special interest in brain injury and the social effects. click here to find out about the First Tuesday Counselling sessions.
Jackie Muirin
Jackie is a brain injury survivor and has worked with the group since 1994. On 25th November 1990 she was a passenger in a vehicle involved in an RTA and suffered a severe brain injury and other serious orthopaedic injuries. She was in a coma for 3 weeks. Jackie is alway keen to encourage others with similar problems to encounter new experiences and not to feel isolated. Headway has helped her to build friendships and to socialise with others. Before the accident Jackie had trained as a nanny in Canada and was about to embark on a career as a dental nurse.
Daniel Forsythe
Daniel supports HWNL as an administrator and project support for the development of new services. Daniel works as a project manager in the financial sector and joined the Charity in January 2006.
