Headway North London @ Kingsgate Community Centre
Weekly Activities - every Tueday
Computers at the Kingsgate - we now have a regular slot in the new I.T suite weekly on Tuesday afternoons from 1.30 - 3.30 this is in addition to the monthly second Tuesday activities below. Come along and use the computers for your own research, emails, booking tickets or whatever you want to do. A printer, copier and scanner are also available. Help is always available for those that need it. The I.T group is in room 26 and the drop-in is now in room 6 on the 1st floor from 1.30-4.30. There is easy access for the disabled via the lift.
Monthly Activities - every second Tuesday of the month
In response to members' needs the activities at Kingsgate are now held monthly instead of weekly. The session is open to all visitors once a month on the second Tuesday of the month 1 - 5pm.
From support and information to coffee and some company, our doors will be open to anyone affected by brain injury. The drop-in service also offers practical support to anyone with a brain injury, as well as family members or carers of brain injury survivors. This Kingsgate service is in addition to our Monthly Third Wednesday Meeting.

Introduction to the Wallace Collection talk
On 12th July at the Kingsgate Centre we will be very pleased to welcome a visitor from The Wallace collection to give us a talk ahead of our visit to see the collection in September (exact date to be confirmed). Please come along and hear more about this fantastic art museum before we visit.
1pm - 2.30pm Arts & Crafts
Every month we have an Arts & Crafts workshop between 1pm - 2.30pm. Everyone is welcome to participate and please feel free to come with ideas about what you would like to create. Activities include:- Design and Prepare Greetings Cards
- Make Gift bags and gift tags
- Make Picture Frames
- Book Marks
- Paper Flowers
- Painting on canvas
2.30pm - 5pm Activities
Between 2.30pm and 5pm our doors are open to offer support and information, or just a cup of coffee and a chat, to any one affected by brain injury.Do come along, join us and learn how it can help to boost your confidence, raise your energy levels, find your voice, and have some fun too. In February Accidental festival came along and gave us a 'Jigsaw Art' workshop which we all thoroughly enjoyed.
Lots more workshops will follow including: Nutrition, Creative Writing, Special Interest groups, Drama & Communication, Peer Support Group, Computer skills, and much more.

How much does it cost?
The drop-in service is FREE, but we do encourage service-users to become members of Headway North London.
