About Us
A brain injury can instantly change your life. The brain is fragile and once it is damaged, there can be devastating consequences. Headway North London (HWNL) is a support group for those with, or affected by, brain injury including survivors, carers, family and friends. We provide a number of support services and campaign for greater awareness of brain injury. HWNL covers all of north London (UK) including Camden, Islington, Westminster, Barnet, Brent, Enfield and Haringey.
The objectives of the charity are:
- To relieve person who have suffered a brain injury, their families, carers and other related party professionals, by the provision of such information, services and facilities as are required from time to time by such persons
- To advance the education of the public in all aspects relating to brain injury and its prevention
